Before I go away for the weekend, I wanted to do something fun, like a GIANT giveaway.
A little while ago, I attended the CEW Product Demonstration, which is like the Oscars of Beauty and Mecca for Beauty Lovers. There will be a post on what I saw here shortly, but let me drum up excitement for not only the behind-the-scenes goodness to come, but for your spring beauty routine.
I have in my possession one of the gift bags from the event. Ladies, this is a goodie bag even beauty editors want. It weighs about 10 lbs and it is FILLED with full-sized beauty products and samples from companies like L’Oreal Paris, Cle de Peau, Tarte, Banana Boat, Neutrogena, Aveda, Paul Mitchell, Garnier Fructis, Dove, Olay, Estee Lauder and more!
There are tiny perfume samples and full-sized bottles. There’s everything in here from hair care to body care to fragrance to makeup. It’s a giant bag and it would retail for A LOT. You don’t understand: beauty editors would practically fight to the death in stilettos for this bag. IT’S THAT GOOD.

I have Spring cleaned my house, now I need to Spring clean me.
All Fall and Winter, I have been growing my hair out, so as I made it through the awkward phase, it lived in a bun or a ponytail. Now that it is Spring, I am ready to let my hair down (literally and figuratively), but I need to spruce it up a bit [this is the part where a bag full of product goodies would REALLY come in handy].
Sometimes, a gal just has to play around with a few new products to get the right one, but where to start…? OH! A bag full of beauty awesome-sauce would be an excellent place to start.
Also, I never win stuff, so how’s about you prove me wrong!?
Other than the skin care debacles I’ve been in lately (aren’t I too old for zits by NOW?!?) – I’ve got to get myself ready for wedding season!

Why do I need that lovely 10lb of products to perk up my beauty routine? Basically I have no routine but I’m trying to correct that! Unfortunately I’m not getting any younger but I’m hoping to find some things to correct that!
My routine needs a makeover because: 1. I am in a beauty rut
2. The changing season has wreaked havoc on my skin and hait
& Frankly, I would use a lot of those myself, but I’d also share them with my mom—she’s been in a beauty rut for a few years now since my dad has been missing. Anything I could do to help her smile again would be great.
I am desperate to reset my beauty regime! Yesterday was garbage day and I did a Spring Cleaning of my beauty products. I filled a 7 gallon trash can with bottles and tubes of lotion, lipstick, acne and anti-aging products, mascars, not-so-liquid eyeliner, the list goes ON! I didn’t realize how many products I had hoarded up over the years. Now that it’s all ckeaned out I am struck by how few products I’ve been using lately, my look is so boring…brown and pink eyeshadow, pink blush, black mascara, nude gloss, one anti-frizz serum. I would DIE to try out some new products and hit the reset on my routine!! If I am the lucky recipient some Spring flowers might show up at your door, just saying

For far too many years I dressed like a boy, and wore no makeup, because I worked in man land. I recently landed a promotion and can now dress like a girl. I have discovered the joys of MAC, Sephora and gel manicures. I would live to try the products in this bag.

My spring beauty routine needs a makeover because I am really focused on taking good care of myself in 2012. Over the last two years, I’ve had a baby (at 39 years old) and returned to work. Let’s just say that my “self care” fell to its lowest low in 2011 and I VOWED to not leave 2012 looking and feeling the way I did when I left 2011. To that end, I’ve ramped up my fitness routine, running regularly and eating well. Now I’d like to also focus on my skin and hair to show my daughter that, just because I work and run around after a toddler, doesn’t mean that I don’t deserve energy and care, too. I want to be a good role model for her so that she doesn’t equate motherhood with self-neglect – I want her to see that a mother can be loving toward others AND herself.
My WIFE’S spring beauty routine needs a makeover because she’s juggling our two year old, our four month old and moving into a new house at the end of the month. On top of this, the only help I give her is complaining about having to work all the time and signing her up for these beauty products! Just yesterday she was telling me about how all of her beauty products had expired while she was stick indoors for the past few months being either super pregnant, or with a newborn. It would be great to get her something like this to remind her how beautiful she is.

My beauty routine needs a makeover because I don’t have one, unless washing my face with bar soap in the shower counts. I just turned 30 and now I’m beginning to think I should have given my skin a lot more love in my younger years. I recently spent almost an hour at the store being overwhelmed and confused by all the products available. I left empty handed with a headache.
I guess I’m too late but my beauty routine is in a slump and needs a shakeover makeover to liven things up! I’d experiment for weeks with a bag of goodies like this!
