One of the hardest things for me to buy is a dress. As someone who is truly hourglass shaped, finding a dress that hits all the right places in the right ways can be complicated. Let’s add to that the fact that I really hate to wear shapewear (I do it, but I DON’T ENJOY IT) and therein lies a complex web of shopping for a dress that I like.
Hence, when I got my hands on this fab dress from designer David Lerner, I grabbed it with both hands and never let go. The dress is constructed with a fitted skirt that sucks you in and gives you an instant bottom lift (and WHO says no to that one? NOT ME!) and it comes with a glorious blouson draped top that glides easily over the bustline and disguises the tummy. In other words, it’s an evening dress in which you can eat. You can also get your groove on, dance until dawn and it still looks brilliant.
Even though this particular dress is no longer available, he has GREAT dresses you will want to check out in the link below. Flattering to a wide range of sizes, I’m a huge fan of his clothes. He’s a man who loves women in all the right ways and it shows in the design of his clothes.
