Beauty Quickie: How to Get The Perfect Nude Lip Every Time

Ok, so one of the major trends you’re about to see coming back is 90′s-inspired lips. That can mean a lot of things (and not all of them good), but specifically I’m talking about nude lips that are either flesh-toned and disappear into your face or perfectly nude like the tone of your lip.

So, click the link above for the biggest tip, but honestly, if you want a perfect nude lip every time, pull down your bottom lip. See that hue right there? That is flushed, slick and the perfect nude lip. Match your lip gloss or lipstick to THAT color (not the actual color of your lip, it’s not “amped” enough) and you cannot go wrong. Easy, right?

You’re saying, people will look at me funny if I pull my lip down in public. Please. You want to really make them stare, brush your teeth while you’re at it. A quick peek isn’t going to do any harm.

What I Recommend: My perfect nude lips can work for a variety of skin tones and I love them both. NARS Lip Gloss in Stolen Kisses is the perfect flushed mauve-ish pink and is perfect in every where (plus, don’t you love the name?) My other favorite is Korres Lip Butter Glaze in Laurel. Both are amazing and perfect in every way.
