New York Fashion Week can be a bit of a crazy mess, particularly when you have to race across town from one location to another to get to a presentation. Of the day of the alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet Spring 2013 Collection presentation, this was actually my 8th event of the day. But to A+O I went because, let me be honest, I don’t miss anything where Stacey Bendet’s designs are involved.
Upon taking a gigantic freight elevator up to the 4th floor of the Center 548 Gallery space, guests were greeted to a giant room filled with models in gorgeous frocks standing against a bright sky blue backdrop (complete with clouds) and a very 50′s-inspired collection ripped from well-preserved pages of Life magazine It spanned from playtime to cocktail hour to dresses appropriate to meet the parents and ones simply designed to take their sons away from them. It was bright, playful, lovely and amazing.
The collection was soooooooo good that I decided to give the accessories a whole post and gallery of their own. Check that out shortly, but enjoy snaps of my favorite looks from the always party-ready collection of alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet. Ring-a-ding-ding, gals.
All photos in this post were taken with the Nikon D-3200 camera, which is featured as part of my New York Fashion Week partnership with Target. To learn more about this camera, head to Target.com or your local Target store for high-performance electronics at an incredible price.
