If we’re speaking honestly (and I believe we are, folks),while I’m obviously a fan of H&M, I’m a recent convert to Maison Martin Margiela, particularly the design house’ spare, angular aesthetic. But every once in a while, even I – the Eternal Jeans and T-Shirt gal, love to indulge in something incredibly fashion-forward. Hence, you might see me standing outside the store, ready to indulge in a little more fast fashion excitement when the Maison Martin Margiela with H&M collection hits stores nationwide on November 15th.

By the way, for those of you who didn’t get that David Byrne Big Suit reference, it was a moment in the 80′s when he was with the band Talking Heads. See this video for reference:

If you’re reading this and you’re a huge fan of Margiela (and are aware of the house’s design aesthetic (spare, ambiguous, clean,) that all the designers work together in collaboration rather than one rising to the top), no need for me to sell you on why this design collective’s clothes are going to add interest and a dash of winter spice to your chai latte of a fashion closet. As a matter of fact, let’s just slap collective high fives when we see each other in line.

But if you’re looking at this strangely, then, you know, it ain’t for you and that’s totally cool. But these photos are the items that I will PERSONALLY be stalking when the collection goes on sale nationwide on November 15th.
