Gals, one of the most important investments you will ever make is a lingerie drawer filled with gorgeous options. Not only is good lingerie the foundation of EVERY SINGLE LOOK you will ever have, but take it from me: life is too short to spend in bras that don’t fit.
Plus, if you’re more confident in what’s underneath your clothes, you’ll be more inclined to take them off at some point.
These rules came to mind as I strolled through the launch of luxury lingerie brand Fleur du Mal before the holidays. Held in a gorgeous loft in lower Manhattan, I got a chance to take a peek at the designs of Jennifer Zuccarini, who has the design credentials to helm her own brand. After co-founding Kiki de Montparnasse in 2005 and then a stint at Victoria’s Secret, she’s come out with this amazing collection of lingerie and ready-to-wear that is out-of-this-world sexy.

Any night involving this type of place setting means no dessert…in the best way possible. Click link for shopping info.
Jennifer explained to me at the party that the inspiration behind the collection is a hybrid of lingerie inspiring ready-to-wear and vice versa, resulting in a collection that brings to mind the joys of dressing up and undressing with equal aplomb.
The collection has been designed to be sold exclusively online, to bring a sensuality to the experience that’s been sorely lacking.
Gals, it’s time to either add to the lingerie collection or to throw everything you have out and start all over again, but either way, at least two pieces should be Get Dressed Then Get Naked Worthy. I’d recommend checking out Fleur du Mal for those pieces. I’ve personally got my eye on this:
I mean, SOMEONE has to bring garters back. It might as well be me.
