Interestingly enough, according to my analytics, about 20% of you readers are men. Now, that means – for ME, at least – that I need to start catering to you.
So, here are three products I want you to check out RIGHT THIS SECOND if you haven’t already when it comes to skin conditions post-shave. Some of you are prone to ingrowns, some have blemishes and red spots, and others might have dredded razor burn. Whatever the case, check these out.
OH, and ladies, if you get ingrowns or bumps post-waxing or hair removal, STEAL these products immediately:
Shaveworks The Cool Fix - Peeps, the cooling sensation from this amazing gel feels amazing on contact and the glycolic and salicylic acids it contains helps to thin skin out a bit, which makes it easier for hair to come through without those dreaded bumps. It can get rid of razor burn in minutes and ingrowns within a day or two. It’s sitting in my bathroom as we speak.
Anthony Logistics for Men – I LOVE Anthony products for men’s skin issues and if you have ingrowns, then I recommend the Ingrown Hair Treatment immediately. It uses a mixture of glycolic, salicylic and phytic acids, botanicals and alcohols to remove dead skin, prevent bacteria from growing and alleviates the conditions that can cause ingrowns to happen.
For all other things shaving-related, check out The Perfect Shave Kit, which has everything you need for a great shave and to alleviate razor burn and all things shave irritation.
Jack Black – Another personal favorite for men’s skin care, I would recommend the 3-in-1 Clear Complexion Solution: Razor Bump and Acne Treatment. Clogged pores/follicles and bacteria buildup happens the same way, so this amazing blend of lactic and salicylic acids helps act as an astringent to help exfoliate dead skin, clears bacteria and helps remove the conditions for blackheads, razor burn, ingrown hairs and acne. It’s a genius product, really. If razor burn is really your only issue, then just use their Post-Shave Cooling Gel and call it a day.
And there you have it. Even better? All these products can be found in your own little section of Sephora. So, go check them out and worry no more.
