It includes translucent pressed powder, concealer, a lip gloss, creme blush and eye shadow. The second palette, Le Soleil, was created by Keren Craig, and mimics a California sun-kissed bronzed look. It contains bronzer, concealer, a caramel lip gloss, creme blush and an eye shadow. The palettes will retail for $65.

The collection also includes eight shades of lip gloss ($38 each) and brightener and luminizer pens (for precise application – love, $48 each). The whole gorgeous collection will be available at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus nationwide beginning September 2010, so get ready to purchase, apply and walk your own red carpet every day, ladies.

Yesterday afternoon, a group of us were invited to the sleek Rescue Beauty Lounge for the unveiling of  Coach “Poppy”, the legendary accessories line’s newest fragrance.

Creative Director Reed Krakoff has created a fragrance that evokes the youthful exuberance of the new accessories line but still captures the timeless qualities of the brand. The scent is a fabulous addition to their scent library, one that erupts with exuberance and ends with an eyebrow-raising sexy note. Here’s what you can expect:

Top Notes: “Juicy” - the fragrance pops open with notes of cucumber flower petals, juicy mandarin and baby freesia buds for “vibrancy and energy”

Middle Notes: “Colorful” – the middle notes builds the fragrance with pink waterlily, jasmine and candied rose petals in a creme brulee accord

Base Notes: “Playful” – The essence of sheer sexuality, the base notes are flirty without being overt, containing cedar, bleached sandalwood and whipped marshmallows.

The scent is effervescent and definitely youthful without being “young,” and a must-have as a feminine summer scent. Capture the essence of a carefree summer when this flirty fragrance hits stores nationwide on July 1st.

I was recently offered a chance to relax at Nine West headquarters with some other media folks as we were treated to a fun and fabulous announcement: singer/actress Joss Stone will be collaborating on a collection with Nine West Creative Director Fred Allard come fall!

The collection, entitled Joss Stone for Nine West America draws inspiration from all things Joss, including her many tattoos, which are sweet and very personal.

Fred and Joss had a great time collaborating on the collection. The mood board for the collection looked very bohemian glam and, well, I’d show you the shoes but they’re under top secret lock and key. Check out the items on the board and you’ll get an idea.

Joss is even working on an exclusive download to go along with video content and other goodies for the launch of the collection come fall, so stay tuned for more announcements and be prepared for a rocker cool collection from Nine West Vintage America!

It’s truly a good week when it starts out with news this amazing. My favorite model of all time and one of my greatest Style Icons, Iman, will be honored with a Fashion Icon award at the CFDA Awards tonight at Lincoln Center!

Previous winners of the award have included Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker, but this is an amazing honor for black models from every era, a group that has seen much struggle within the fashion industry. The recognition of one of the greatest models and businesswomen of our time is a huge step in the right direction and well-deserved per her impressive body of work. She’s a Fashion Icon and a role model that you can have it all, work very hard and still be a class act.

You know that we love all things M·A·C around here and we’ve just received a fabulous news update: the legendary makeup line is teaming up with Disney for a limited-edition color collection entitled Venomous Villains. Inspired by four of Disney’s most beautiful baddies, the collection will include lipsticks, powder, lip glosses and blush shades ranging in price from $12 to $29.50. Excited? Me too! Problem is, you’ll have to be patient, my pretty: this fabulous top-secret collection won’t launch until September.

Now, even though M·A·C is remaining quiet for now about the identities of the villains featured, let’s see if you can guess which fabulous Disney characters will be immortalized as part of the collection. We all know how much I loved Bravo’s The Fashion Show (I went to the taping of the season finale – so happy). Well, it looks like the show has been renewed for a second season and Isaac’s got a new co-host: IMAN! I KNOW!

Bravo broke the news on their blog last night, which included a statement from the legendary supermodel. She said:

“I am so excited to be joining the Bravo team and to be working again with Isaac Mizrahi, my close friend of many, many years. I am also looking forward to all of the behind-the-scenes excitement and drama that is generated through the creative process of these undiscovered fashion designers. This will certainly be a show any follower of fashion will want to see.”

I cannot WAIT to see what my all-time favorite model has to say to the potential designers. She walked for Halston back in the day, people. This is going to be FIIIIIIIIIIIIERCE.

Things are looking up for reality tv this coming season!

Gaby Basora will launch her exclusive collection as part of the Go International series at most Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com.  Known for her wearable designs and innovative prints inspired by everything from flowers to candy wrappers, it looks like a total win-win: the designer’s collection for Target will expand her brand and women’s closets everywhere will be the better for it. Look for the fashion collection to launch on September 12th of this year and remain in-store through October 17th.

Meanwhile, the Temple St. Clair for Target® Accessories Collection will highlight the covet-worthy designs of Temple St. Clair Carr.
